Biography

Murna is from the Federal Republic of Nigeria located in the heart of West Africa. Since the summer of 2007, Murna has been pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in International Development and a double minor in French and Economics at Portland State University. While a duel native of Kaduna and Gombe states in Northern Nigeria, Murna was born in Plateau state in Jos city in the middle belt region.

Having come from such a dynamic background, Murna enjoys the privilege of sharing her culture. Whether for large scale presentations or for a personal interview, she thrives on sharing her heritage with all types of audiences of all ages and experiences who have keen interest in Nigeria.

Addressing topics ranging from history, economics, government and religion, to customs, cultures, food and cooking styles, national symbols, sports/recreation, music, traditional fashion and holidays; Murna structures her presentations to take you into a world of an authentic Nigerian experience!

Having also lived and widely traveled in different countries in Africa, Murna has chosen to become a patron for educating audiences and communities about overall topics in regards to the beautiful continent of Africa.
